ETEC 644: Week Six

First off, it was great matching faces with names at the meeting the other night.  For those who couldn’t make it, I hope to see you another time in the future.

Okay, for this week, I watched the Protecting Human Subjects triad of videos.  I wasn’t sure if I was suppose to watch all three videos in one shot or try to complete the CITI modules at the same time.  I chose to watch the whole set of videos first.  I registered at the CITI website choosing Group 2: Social Behavioral Research Investigators and Key Personnel.  Is this correct anyone?  I went ahead and completed three modules but only one quiz so far.  I’m hoping to complete the whole section this week and then fill out the IRB form.

    Yes…I also chose group 2. I have one more module to do, the elementary and secondary schools module (which probably relates closely to the project). It was just too much reading to fit in at 1 am. Have fun taking the quizzes.

    Well, I chose to decpmpress my brain this week, but will hit the assignments with full passion this week. It was nice chatting shop with you guys the other night.

    I don’t remember what the number was but now it says human research so I guess if I did the wrong one I’ll find out from Dr. Newberry I don’t remember getting to choose and yesterday was along time ago.

    Yes, I did group two also. If you read the Belmont report thoroughly the modules go pretty quick.
